“Do I have to connect directly into it like a wifi network? If I'm connected in my wifi network, I'll have to disconect from my wifi and connect into the wifi device? Is it possible to have both connections at the same time? I'm thinking, if I need to access internet and at the same time save some document in the device, it will be possible? Thank you.”

The unit does not have a dual channel connection. What happens is you connect to the router on the device, get a confirmation and then you keep the router online on your own network with it being able to connect to your wifi. It takes anywhere from 2 or 3 minutes to as long 15 minutes and then it creates a sort of tunnel and give your unit internet access through the device. I does not have any special routing other than allowing a secure connection to pass through it and give you internet access.

Note that you will experience slower internet access, precisely because you are going through the Seagate Plus (it is only 2.4 Ghz).
