Yes, this is a device license usually for 3 to 5 devices. That would be 1 Mac, 1 PC and 1 Tablet or any combination of them.

It doesn't specify what type of system is needed, but you can always check with Webroot technical support. I have a Dell Desktop, and a HP laptop, and both of them have the same Webroot from my original purchase on them. I hope this answers your question.
