• A:Answer Bestbuy is selling gen 2 Ninebot Max G30P since July last year. If you want to check the motor's S/N should start with 9 instead of 6 (old gen) and the kickstand is on the left front side instead of the left back side of the scooter.

• A:Answer So real world answer here, I have had it down to 50% charge after riding about 8 miles. That was in the high performance mode with lots of stopping and starting and I weigh 250lb. With a lighter rider and in a slower mode I am sure the range would be much further, but who wants to go slower. And airing the tires up to 50PSI seems to increase range a bit too as well as acceleration.

• A:Answer Not sure what the max distance is on eco but it all depends on how much you weigh. I weigh 235 and on eco I got about 10 mph on the highest speed I got about 18 stock. The max distance has been about 20 miles per charge on Max settings

• A:Answer 1. It is NOT water PROOF, but it is water resistant. If you go on the Segway website it says it is rated IPX5 Water-Resistant. That means splashes shouldn't be able to get inside. It would be fine in rain or snow, but like many other owners have said on countless forums, just treat it like it has electronics inside. I even plan to dodge puddles as much as possible with mine even though I can tell it would be fine as long as it's not actually submerged for any considerable amount of time. 2. I push mine down the halls and stuff pretty easily, but haven't had to ride it without juice at all, but according to a reviewer on Amazon: "Ya it doesn't lock up the hub or anything it is just heavy... Relatively..." It's 42lbs, if that helps give you any idea. There is one thing I think might help if the battery does get low, it has regenerative braking. So, if you ride it down a steep hill, it should convert 60-70 percent of that excess energy into battery charge. I have not a clue how much far that would get you though, there are too many variables like the size and incline of the hill, how much you ride the brakes on the way down, etc..
