- Answer Hi There, for the G30P models the required age should be 14+ and above, while the recommended height is 120 - 200 cm.

- Answer Yes its the Gen 2, every ninebot max from best buy is a Gen 2, i was very worried that when i ordered it that it might not be, but it is. You can tell because the Gen 1 motors serial numbers start with a "6" .... but the Gen 2 motors start with a "9" ...trust me, i was so sketched out that it wouldnt be gen 2 but it is all they sell now since july 2021. Thats why i went with bestbuy and not like amazon or something

QuestionI have the G30 P and there is a slow leak in my front tire. I bought it less than 1 year ago. What do I do to get it repaired or replaced?

- Answer I would go to a tire place to seal the leak. If the tire has good thread I wouldn't replace it.

- Answer They don't recommend doing that because the battery bank is underneath and the charge port is on the side rather than higher. That being said, it depends on how much water the rain is leaving. I have gotten away with sprinkling.

- Answer Nope. Go to nearest Segway service provider if under warranty. May have to ship because there are only 3 in the U.S. They make you pay for shipping too.

- Answer It feels super sturdy like a carbon steel, didn’t come with a seat so not sure what that would be made of, and wheels are norma tubeless rubber tires, so it goes over bumps and dirt trails just fine

- Answer The Segway Ninebot Max G30P and G30LP scooters are not clear of recall—they were officially recalled in March 2025 due to a faulty folding mechanism that can cause the handlebars or stem to collapse while riding, posing a serious fall hazard. If you just purchased one, it is part of the recall, and Segway is offering a free repair/maintenance kit to address the issue.

- Answer The scooter works great, I’m weight around 230 and works great, the only difference obously that impact a little bit on the battery that you have to recharged more than one person than they weight less than that, my wife weight like 150 and we love the scooter!!!

- Answer There is a modest charge on the battery, for you to be able to ride it right out of the box. Peers have shared with me to only charge it when the battery gets to about 20% and only when it it fully cooled down. That's what I have been doing to maintain battery health.
