• The seat removes by unscrewing four screws at the corners of the plate at the bottom of the seat. Mounting the seat does not penetrate the body of the scooter, just clamps to the scooter, thus, no change to water resistance of the scooter.

• The seat came in a separate box, not attached to scooter. There aren't any holes, the seat post bracket works like a clamp that you can adjust anywhere on the footboard.
