Does it have a remote to make it change colors null

It does not have a remote, but you can change the colors on your phone via the Sengled app, or change the colors with your voice if you have an amazon echo device. Keep in mind, though, you need either the Sengled hub or an echo device with a built in hub (like the echo plus or echo studio) to control the light strip remotely.

No not the extension if just hooks on to the end of a regular light strip go make it longer. Now there will be a remote on the regular light strip to control the color sns the extension well change colors to whatever the main switches to
