A:Answer We've had one of these headsets for 8-10 years--it has not always been treated gently (i.e., it's been stretched and dropped more times than I wish it had been, and we've moved twice), but it still works, along with the transmitter that we bought at the same time.
You could try putting regular batteries in, just to make certain there's not a problem with charging. Another possibly dumb idea: Make sure you have the signal tuned in.
Ours did stop working for a time, several years ago, and then it started working again and has been fine ever since. It seemed to be a problem with the transmitter. As I recall, we unplugged it and plugged it back in a couple of times, made sure all the connections were secure, and maybe moved it to a different side of the TV stand. Anyway, it started working again, and I'm not really sure why. Probably a loose connection, because I think the problem occurred after we reconnected everything after putting the TV on a new stand. You could try these things, and I hope you have the same luck we did. If not, the Best Buy website says there's a 2 year warranty.
