I replaced a pair of Sony’s and I liked these much more that the Sony’s. The Sony’s did have a much longer cord. The Sony's were wired and the Sennheeiser are both wired and Bluetooth. The Sony’s cushions fell apart and were difficult to find to replace until recently. I don’t see any wear from the Sennheiser’s at this point.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. They have a bit wider range than the Sony’s, but the Sony’s have SLIGHTLY better noise cancelation. All and all, I would take these over Sony’s, but that’s just my opinion.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They support AAC for Apple and APTX. Your device must also support APTX in order to get the hifi audio. Sony's have LDAC and these do not have LDAC.
