A:Answer The reason probably is that the Blacks sell much better than the Ivories, and Sennheiser wants to move the back stock on the Ivories. I took advantage of the difference in price today and ordered the Ivory color, since I like both colors about equally, and for $45.00, the decision was easy. As a retired business owner, I used to do that all the time. If you want something that you have a lot of, (like a color) to move, you put that one item on a little better sale than the other color.
