A:Answer If you mean cleaning the shredder blades, unplug first, then use any tool that works to pull your stuck paper out. I have used needle nose pliers, scissors, big unbent paper clips--they all work. I finally learned not to overstuff the paper entry, more importantly, to avoid the end blade areas, as they seem more susceptible to jamming, when you forget and use more paper than the maximum, there are folded papers within the bunch, or really thick paper or cardboard. I have also learned to remove all 'stickies' before attempting shredding, as these seem to aggravate the machine. Lately and rarely, I have been able to remove any surprise jams by hand. Also, keep a close eye on how full the receptacle is, as the machine will jam with already shredded paper that has risen up against the blades. Hope this helps.
