“Do the lights need to be on? Also is the hair tangling at least “easy” to remove?”

• It does need some light. Running at night in a dark house doesn't work well. I have a dog and 2 cats and don't have a hair tangle problem.

• For best performance it is suggested to leave the lights on while running the robot. The brushroll can be removed from the Robot to easily remove any hair.
