“Is this robot smart enough not to fall down stairs”

• Yes it will not fall down stairs. There are a couple warnings in the manual about not having carpet runners at the top of wood stairs and such where apparently the robot can get confused and risk falling. But I have not had a problem, it cleans up the the edge of steps on hard surfaces and does not risk falling.

• Yes, the sensors will stop it from falling down stairs. If there is an issue, the app will alert you too.
