- Answer The side dust filters on the air purifier usually need maintenance every 1–2 months, and the front indicator will pulse red when it’s time. To clean them, slide the mesh filters upward to remove them, then use a vacuum with a soft brush or a cloth to clear dust. If needed, you can rinse them with room‑temperature water, just make sure they air‑dry completely for 12 hours before reinstalling to avoid damaging the HEPA filter. Once dry, slide them back into place.

- Answer When you enter the room, your NeverChange air purifier may detect particles you bring in, such as dust from clothing or skin particles, which can temporarily lower the air‑quality reading. This is completely normal and indicates that the purifier’s sensors are functioning correctly. The air quality should improve as the purifier continues filtering. If it does not, please contact our Shark Support team at 1‑855‑427‑5127, available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET for further assistance.

- Answer We do advise you to place the Air Purifier on a level floor surface near an electrical outlet. For maximum airflow, it should be positioned at least 3 inches away from the walls and other objects.

- Answer To maximize your air purifier's filter life and performance, Shark recommends leaving your unit in AUTO mode. After 100% clean air status is achieved for 10 minutes in AUTO mode, your air purifier will enter ECO mode and further optimize the filter life. To maximize the life of the HEPA filter, we recommend reorienting it every three months: remove the HEPA filter, turn it upside down, then reinsert it, making sure that the side that was previously on top is now on the bottom. This will help equalize the distribution of captured particles throughout the filter, helping to extend its useful life.
