How well does it do with cords on the ground? null

If the end of the cord is exposed, it will suck it up. My phone charging cord by my night stand was lying out, and it sucked it up and stripped half the USB housing off it. If it runs over a section of a cord, it seems fine. But those are thicker cords than my wispy charging cord.

This model can climb over obstacles under 4.5 inches, so it should have no trouble moving over everyday items like power cords.
