- Answer The suction is great but it is LOUD! It is also awkward when I take it off the main upright . I would like a shorter or more flexible part.

QuestionWhen I click the handle & hose to the wand, I hear the click first but then need to press a little firm in order for it to lock. Is this normal or should I exchange it for another? I just purchased it today.

- Answer I think it's normal. Use a little more force when clicking it in and it should stay.

QuestionThis will be our 2nd Shark vacuum purchase in 6 years. We purchased the 1st directly from Shark.com which gave us a built in "bumper to bumper" warranty. Does purchasing from Best Buy afford the same 5 yr protection?

- Answer According to the Warranty Specifications, the NV681 Shark vacuum has a 7 year warranty! That is one reason reason I preferred this model to all the others! I also added a 5 year Geek Squad Warranty to make sure I never have a problem! This is a long term investment as far as I am concerned - and - it is well engineered from top to bottom!!!

QuestionI don't want to carry around the dust canister for this Shark vacuum model # 681 whenever I use the attachments. Can this model # 681 cannister fit into the model # 751 caddy that I have for carrying around the # 751 dust cannister?

- Answer You can purchase a caddy from Shark directly for the 680 series, however, it is not in the Emerald Green. It's blue. The NV680 and NV681 are green, the NV682 and NV683 are blue but all share the same design.

QuestionThe pet multi-tool does not seem to sit correctly on its Accessory Post. The canister gets in the way. Am I missing something?

- Answer You have to line up the little peg that's on the bottom of the post, with the hole on the bottom of the tool. Then just twist the head of the pet tool, so it fits nicely along side the canister!
