Questionwhat are the dimensions of the roller head. I need to know what furniture it fit under.

- Answer The head is about 3 inches but there is a hinge connector that is a bit larger and I cannot fit under furniture less than 6 inches tall

- Answer Make sure there isn't something like a paper towel stuck in there. The light on the rollers will turn from green to red when something is stuck.

- Answer Its suction driven but it will pick up anything you put in front of it, including loose change up to quarters. The roller spins, its not just a brush with suction. If you have it attached and put it on the floor by itself it will actually crawl a bit on its own, at least on my low pile carpet. "Its ALIIIIIVE!!"

- Answer Yes this vacuum is great for wood/laminate! That’s what the majority of our house is and it actually helps polish the floor! Also when you first turn the vertex on it is on hard surface by default so you don’t even need to turn the carpet mode on!

- Answer I have been cleaning for almost 30 yrs and have used shark for most of that. Yes, the brush stops. I have never had a problem with shark brand.

- Answer For a vacuum cleaner, it is surprisingly quiet. I measured the SPL at 73dB at 10-feet from the side, which was the loudest direction. Of equal importance is the tone of the sound. There was no high-pitched whine. I would describe the sound as muffled.
