“Minimum cooking time One reviewer says you can not cook something less than 30 seconds. Is this true?”

• It has a 30 sec. feature which means that if your food requires just a little bit more time to cook then you press this button to add 30 sec. to your cook time. To answer your question that is not right. You have to press the power button to set your own cook time which could be 1 sec to whatever. I have melted butter so I can verify that.

• You just push the power button and then type in how long you would like to cook for. We usually cheat and just open it after a few moments. Hope that helps!

• Not true, you can choose 5 seconds if you want. The pre-programmed options do not run for shorter periods but the manual time/ power function has no limitations

• Hello Gene, you can set the timer on the R-651ZS for less than 30 seconds. This can be done by pressing the power button, selecting the desired power setting, then setting the desired time.
