A:Answer It has an information banner which is activated by pushing the "up" arrow on the navigation button cluster (in the center of the remote). It's not labeled as "info" on the remote however. The banner has the program name and duration, along with other channel data, time and date. It does not have a program description, however. I called Sharp (now actually Hisense - a Chinese company) and asked if the program description is perhaps available in a hidden menu and they said no.
