My husband and I bought this for family members who live in Idaho to replace the 26 inch they had. They love it. They use a sound bar to get better sound from the TV and they also have hooked up wireless headset for when one of them wants to watch TV without disturbing the other person. Their sound bar is remote controlled so my suggestion is that you might want to invest in a sound bar or speakers that can plug into the Headphone jack to get better sound out of the TV.
