Yes you can add external speakers! Simply pair them (Bluetooth) and they work. I've tried several of my Bluetooth speakers... no problem. FYI, there are many types of Bluetooth speakers on the market, from reference speakers, near field monitors, full range HiFi speakers and even the cheap little plastic computer speakers that all connect via the Bluetooth function. Make sure the external speakers are self-powered (most are).

Hello, I must advise that you are not able to connect another external speaker to the unit. The unit only has an audio in jack. The unit also does not have an app to control it with or the compatibility to be used with an iPhone.
