It's called a Smart TV due to its ability to connect to wireless networks and add programming apps like Hulu, Netflix, etc.

However the smart tv allows you to connect to roku and wifi streaming from your phone or the internet. You can also use your phone as a remote. I have wireless speakers hooked up so I would imagine you could connect wireless headphones. Hope this helps.
