QuestionI’ve already called the sharp service phone number and it doesn’t do any good for me to keep calling for the same issue over and over again. I want to know what is the solution or the on going problem.

QuestionI just bought my TV and got it all set up. In the 2 hours it’s been set up The picture goes black and then comes back, then does it again, then it seems ok for a bit. It’s happened about 10 times in multiple apps now. What’s happening?

- Answer Go to settings and then choose Dynamic Contrast. Dynamic Contrast adjusts the backlighting for the entire screen depending on the brightness of the picture that is being shown, it will adjust the backlight of the screen to enhance the contrast of the colors. This can be changed to high, low, or off. Hope this helps.

QuestionWhat cable do we use to hook up the modem to the television? We keep losing WiFi connection to the television. I’ve called the sharp product number and it keeps doing the same thing. Should I just bring back to bust buy so it can be serviced??

- Answer Ethernet cable. I would choose a high speed Cat5e Ethernet cable to hook up the modem to the tv. The tv has a ethernet port in the back located next to the HDMI inputs.

Questionthe specs state no ethernet port, but the pictures show one. My location is far from my router and I have an ethernet cord to the tv I'd like to replace with this one. Does it have an ethernet port or not?

QuestionI just bought a sharp LC-55LBU591U tv. wanted to hook up my dvd, vhs, soround sound, and stereo tuner, don't know what ports to install too.

- Answer The stereo receiver goes to the HDMI Arc port. When this is used there is no sound from the TV. The surround I believe uses an optical cable to the speakers but, there is no sound from the TV. The VHS uses the RCA red, white, & yellow plugs. If you have a TV receiver box the VHS & DVD hook up to that. Most TV receiver boxes hook up to the second HDMI port on the back of the TV. You might be only able to hook up 1 device at a time to the RCA ports. Sharp has an 800 number to help with this too.
