• App based. There's no browser yet to surf the web. I say yet because a software upgrade in the future may end up making it possible.

• Great question! The LC60LE835U is a Smart TV that can access apps and widgets that come with the TV, but it does not have a web browser built-in. You can always use your PC’s browser and connect the PC to the TV.
