the one thing that i can tell you ( having spent 14 months in Saudi which is also 240V/50Hz ) is that you may see some over heating issues.. with the converter not the tv and this is with multiple componants over an extended period of time. IE: 5 strait online games of Madden.. and the converter over heated.but this with with a 1600w unit, so it is expected, for a perm fix you can go with a heavy duty model such as LR-5000- 5000W made by a company named LiteFuze its a Voltage Regulator w/ Voltage Converter Transformer - Step Up/Down 110/120/220/240V .. ..somthing to look into You may not even need a converter, last i was there Dec of 09, there was a large portion of saudi ( and other arab countries) converting to 60hz

We do not recommend any specific brand of voltage converter for the LC70LE735U Sharp television and the U.S. models were not designed to work outside of the United States. However, using a voltage converter that can output the power requirements stated in the manual should allow the unit to function correctly.
