You can only program one function for each of the buttons on the Sideclick. You could program the power button to turn on and off the tv, use the A button to power on/off the DirectTV box, and use the B button to power on/off your Pioneer receiver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I keep my receiver on at all times and just power on my TV with the sideclick, use the volume buttons for my audio system. I wouldnt use it for your directv since you still need the numbers and menu buttons on the standard remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can program each button individually and they don't need to be from the same remote. for example, you can program "A" as your TV power button, "B" as your cable box power button, "+" to be the cable box changing channel and up button to control sound volume. the manual is very easy to follow, set up is simple.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should probably look a harmony smart hub to get all your devices consolidated into a remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, just ignore the power button or use it for the device that you want to power on like the tv and just leave the receiver on. When you program the remote you point the two at one another and the sideclick learns the function of the other remote, it's very easy.
