- Answer This card is for service only & does not include a SIM card. SIM card kits are available for purchase for under $10 You will also need a compatible phone. I suggest an unlocked phone instead of a carrier specific phone so your able to jump carriers at any time with zero issues.

- Answer Yes you can by an unlocked phone but you need to buy a SIM card for it to work with Simple Mobile as well as the $25 card. The SIM card is $1

QuestionI will be travelling in the US from Australia and just need a prepaid SIM that I can use for the 6 weeks. Don’t want a plan of any sort. What’s the best SIM I can get with the most data? Also would it work in Canada? Thanks John

- Answer Simple mobile offers a decent amount of data for $40, but does not work in Canada. There's most likely other plans that have prepaid service in Canada though.

- Answer As far as I’m aware, the minutes are unlimited, so no, the minutes do not carry over. And uh, yes, the plan is for 30 days from the time it is activated...as it states on the card.

- Answer Well. I fully appreciate what you mean. My use of the phone is very similar to yours; almost entirely talk and text. What I found is, going strictly by usage is the most expensive way to use your cell. I tried it for a while but occasionally got caught having to buy minutes in an urgent, and therefore expensive, way. I wound up with Simple Mobil because the phones and minutes were the least costly. (My last cell was an iphone; don't even get me started!) I really can't recommend a by-the-minute provider because of the relative cost. And on such an open, public forum I feel it's inappropriate. You'd probably be better served asking your question on a more private location.
