• Yes, you can only activate phone service through Simple Mobile. After one year of uninterrupted service, the phone can be unlocked for use on other carriers.

• Pay monthly services if you wanted to use their service. Phone will be unlocked after 12 months of service and you can use it on other carriers after it is unlocked.
