QuestionCan you set camera to get video outside at night ? And is a human identifiable at night on the camera in a video or is it just an image ? I have blink currently can’t see person walking around outside of a lighted area

QuestionHow to install entry sensor on door when molding places one side of sensor higher than the part placed on the door?

- Answer Hi! The Entry Sensor is able to sense its magnet within 2 inches, so the two pieces don't necessarily need to be right up against each other. It might be possible to place the magnet just close enough that it can be detected. Or you might be able to place the magnet on the inside of the frame, so that the door itself swings past it.

- Answer May need to reset the whole system if you haven't tried already. I at first had this slight issue but I reset the keypad and was good to go.

- Answer Yes there is a yard sign. I put two of the sensors on the front and back doors and two at the back and front window.

- Answer Open the Simplisafe app. Select the hamburger (three line) menu icon. Select Help & Support. Search the support site for "How to replace batteries in SimpliSafe Devices" and scroll until you find your device. Each should have video and text instructions for battery replacement.

- Answer Currently our system is designed for single-login. But you can log into an unlimited number of devices. So as long as you and other users in your household use the same email and password, you'll have full control of the system via the app.

- Answer The sensors have a range of up to 800ft over open air. But we recommend keeping them within 400ft of the Base Station for better performance.

- Answer The SimpliSafe alarm system, i.e. the sensors triggering an alarm, can function as a local-only alarm system without a connection. With active Monitoring Service, it can also communicate with the app for notifications and all app functions, through the built-in cellular link. However, all of our cameras do require WiFi and internet service to function at all. Also, none of our camera offerings have a swivel function.

- Answer Our main security system's sensors are all installed with Command Adhesive, which is designed to hold on firmly, but remove cleanly. Some components - like the Video Doorbell Pro, Smoke Detector, and Outdoor Camera, might require screwing the unit in to secure.
