• You also need the base station at a minimum. SimpliSafe sells several different starter sets with everything you need depending on how many sensors you need

• Yes. I can manage and view my simply safe cameras from any computer in addition to my smart phone. Internet is required for the Simply Safe Home Security System. All 10 of my Simply safe cameras function through a main base station and the internet. I have attached an image of the main base station to this review

• The Wireless Outdoor Camera does require the SimpliSafe app on a smartphone to set up. Or perhaps an iPad, if you have one instead. This camera is a component for the complete SimpliSafe Security System, so you'll need to add it to an existing system or purchase one as well.
