• The screws themselves are standard and can screw easily into wood, but certainly aren't strong enough to go into brick or concrete on their own.

• I have mine mounted on stucco, and one is mounted on cinder block. No problem, and very sturdy.

• Easiest is to mount it on a stude. Wall anchors for mortar, brick etc., are included in the box.
