“I have the old SimpliSafe system but I would like to upgrade.. would I have to purchase the whole system over again? I spend $400 on it a few years ago. I’m still a customer for monitoring too! What can I do?!”

It depends on what you mean by "upgrade" If you mean that you want a whole newer system, than yes... you'd need to buy a new one. If you mean you'd like to add components? Then nope... you can buy components - at least the one I got was like this. We can add a BUNCH (I forget the number but it was like 20 or so) more components without getting a different base. It would definitely be worth a call into simplisafe before you spend money on a new base. They're very helpful.

I received and email for a 40% discount on a new system as long as I send back my old system once the new one arrives. This discount only applies if you purchased the system before jan. 10th of this yr. though.
