• Yes. Under devise settings. Turn Alarm Mode on or off for each of the three options; Away, Home, & Off

• Yes you can. You can chose how each sensor activates by using your smart phone or online account. Off is a chime alarm where you get an alarm whenever the sensor is opened and closed. Home is like a perimeter only with roaming free allowed inside. Away is when you are away and all sensors active. Again, all controlled as mentioned above.
