• No internet is require. It has cellular built into it.

• You'll only need the net if you want the camera option. It runs on wifi and you can tap in whenever you want. You can talk through it to remotely. Also if you choose to allow sinplisafe they can access it when your alarm triggers to sew if its live or false alarm.
