• The warranty is for three years. When I purchased my system at best buy I took out an additional 2 years with the Geek Squad on the system for 39.99 and two years on my camera for 10.99. I would check with Best Buy about returning it and if there are any re-stocking fees which they sometimes have on these types of items.
