No, this is the wrong choice if you are looking for something which would hold hot. Please pass on

It keeps things both hot and cold!

Used it for tea and it stayed very hot for at least 3 hours!! It slowly cooled down.

If you keep the lid sealed. Once you leave it open, the heat dissipates.

Yes, they keep hot hot and cold cold.

My wife bought this unit at Best Buy last week and she loves it. She drinks a lot of coffee but not all that fast. She like the closed lid which limits coffee spills in the car and says it keep think hot for a long time. So I would have to say its a keeper.
