The three prong will work fine. The dryer needs 13 amps, your breaker is good for 20amps. Having a little extra capacity is a good thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it would I still have the same 20amp for mine. They want you to update all types of things for them to set up everything. They didn’t even do the set up because I had to change the box I had into a box that fits the new cord, but I still kept the 20 amp. No need to do all of that for this particular dryer. That’s for one that has all the whistle and bells all the extra stuff.
