You need to have a certified electrician install a seperate 220 volt fuse in your fuse box for the stove. He will also need to install a 220 volt line between the fuse box and a new plug behind where your new stove is installed. If there is no room in your fuse box he may need to install a new box for the stove. Make sure you get a licensed electrician, get references for past work you check, check with the state licensing board that his license is current, check with your local Better Buisness Bureau that there have been no significant complaints about his work, get a couple of different quotes, check that the contractor has professional insurance that will cover your home, and get a signed contract that he gets paid a maximum of 50 percent for expenses up front and the remainder upon completion of the work when the stove is installed and working.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you only have a 110v outlet, at the location where you are wanting to plug in a 220/240v stove you need to have an electrician run 220v from your panel and put in the correct outlet.
