• This vent will work for venting either left or right. We have a very tight space and installers did an excellent job installing it.

• I think kits are standard unless you need an oval shaped kit. The location of your vent should not make a difference.

• If you buy it at Bestbuy, they tell you which product you need to get. If Bestbuy going to install it. They only use their product. Otherwise you can just buy in any Home epot or Lowes, dryer kit.
