Omg Molly you sound like me! I found the best way is to inform yourself by reading reviews from everywhere that has the item to be installed. Takes a bit of time but in the end well worth it. Another key is to purchase the item from a reputable company...like BEST BUY. The last thing they want is a bad install review reflecting on their company. That will keep a lot of ppl from purchasing anything. Good of luck Molly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had multiple exchanges for damaged appliances that don’t function correctly. I have consequently gone through several install experiences. Unfortunately some have been less than optimal including hose connections leaking and a third party other than Geek Squad damaging the back of the dryer opening where vent connects plus crushing vent and not telling me. I found this out after he left.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2 that showed to my home were careful, knowledgeable, worked fast, and followed safety guidelines. Another place (initials HD) scratched my kitchen appliance and didn't tell me. He stood covering it while he asked me to sign off that everything was installed and undamaged. Grrr! So of course I didn't notice the damage until later. Ugh, yeah. So that's why I chose Best Buy this time.
