• It came with a 90 degree elbow for tight back clearances. That should work for your situation.

• No I have the same problem with tight back wall with the dryer...its too bulky and long....I tried cutting it and still will not work. Get a small shorter one or a cheap one from Walmart that's what I did.

• Yes I noticed the side knock outs but the manual says it can only vented from the back.
