I ordered a Samsung with the same issue. The dishwasher has a 3/8' connection. My valve is 1/2". The kit that was ordered is 3/8" on both ends. The installer wanted me to contact a plumber and have my valve changed under the sink. The problem with this solution is that my faucet would need adapters or their connections changed as well. The SIMPLE solution is a universal dishwasher kit that contains a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter on one end. But the installer refused to consider this and instead wanted be to contract with him to install a new valve. I called BestBuy but they were no help. I rejected delivery of my dishwasher.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had the same thing happen. For us, the intaller did not like our previous shut off valve and wanted to have a plumber replace it with a new one. We had a plumber come out and take care of it. Then the dishwasher was installed on the second try.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They didn't refuse the install for me but did tell me that I needed a drain line AND drain hose longer than what came with the kit. They were charging $30 EA so I would have paid an extra $60 during the install. But now that I look at the kit it doesn't even come with drain hose (and I think the drain line is just a drain hose so don't know why they were charging me twice.) The installers said this was a common issue that the kit doesn't work but Best Buy said it's uncommon. It would be helpful if they told you up front what conditions needed to exist before they come to install to reduce confusion and surprise charges or complications during install. I live in a very bare bones home and would not have considered mine a "custom" setup, especially given how extremely small my kitchen is.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Call Geek Squad and or Bosh Customer Service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two separate services, one is for delivery and the other is for installation installation of a dishwasher I believe was over $100.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to call Best Buy customer service. Their delivery and install people are contracted out and they may have Provided incorrect info. If it’s a gas dryer then maybe a plumber should install it, but your Best Buy sales rep should have arranged it for you. Bottom line call Best Buy and explain what happened.
