There's a button that turns the speaker off. I don't think it turns itself off

No the punk will turn itself off after a couple of minutes if its not being used.

Yes, There is an automatic turnoff on the Sol Punk BT device. It does have a timer.

The Puck will not turn off right away when you turn the music source off. You should turn it off manually to conserve the battery, though it will automatically after sometime.

The speaker will turn off after a few minutes of not playing anything.
