QuestionIs the mic compatible with Samsung phones?I know for instance with the Bose freestyles the mic is only compatible with Apple products. I want to buy these as a gift for someone who has an IPod device and Samsung phone. So he can easily use one pair of ear buds for both devices.

- Answer I have a Samsung phone. Works with my phone, no problems encountered yet. These are advertised to be compatible with Apple, Android, Windows and Blackberry products.
