A:AnswerRain does not hurt it. I live in Mobile AL where it rains all the time. I have 2 panels over a year old. They don’t charge without the sun on a rainy day but the batteries store enough for like 6 weeks so a week or two of straight rain is no big deal.
A:AnswerAccording to the spec sheet the peak power output is 2 watts. I connected mine and the battery was at 52% within 2 days it was 100% and has remained there since. This is with direct southern exposure in December in Colorado.
