QuestionIs it possible to add either 2 additional Sonance Garden or Landscape series satellite speakers to this system? Based on my research I’m getting conflicting answers but believe the Sonos Amp may be able to handle the additional load. Please confirm.

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend adding any additional speakers to the MAG6.1 system. Adding more speakers may result in an unacceptable load which could damage the Sonos amp. If you need more coverage or additional speakers for other areas, I recommend purchasing an additional MAG6.1 system. I hope you found this information helpful. QuestionWould this system be able to support the addition of two more speakers like the Mariner outdoor series 'MARINER 54BLA' or would I need an additional amp to do so?

- Answer Yes it would bring it from 8 ohms to 4 ohms but can tie in additional speaker. I’ve seen 8 zones ran off of one amp.

QuestionAre the amps and speakers for the MAG 6.1 series the exact same as the amp and speakers for the MAG 4.1? In other words, would I have the exact same equipment and power if I bought this package and only set up 4 speakers? Pricing would indicate otherwise.

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The Sonos amp, satellite speakers, and subwoofer in both packages are the same. The MAG 4.1 package includes an IPORT XPRESS remote control for Sonos with four satellite speakers and one subwoofer. The MAG6.1 package comes with six satellite speakers, one subwoofer and does not include the IPORT XPRESS remote. I hope you found this information helpful. QuestionHow far do u recommend the first speaker to be from the amp?

- Answer It doesn’t matter how fare the first speaker is. It can be far. Just make sure your speakers are 10 to 15 feet apart.

QuestionWould it hurt or potentially add life to my speakers if I covered them for the months the system is not used. So for example; I placed a bucket on top, with a large stone to hold it from blowing off if windy. Nothing would be touching the speakers.

QuestionOur current layout would put the subwoofer at the very end of the daisy chain (~200ft) with a 30 foot gap after the first 3 speakers. Is it possible to not daisy chain everything and use the subwoofer as a junction and then run a 14/4 wire to each side?

- Answer I would follow the suggested daisy loop. You can split both ways as long as one end is at the amp for termination and your splitting left and right channels. That’s all that really matters.

QuestionAre you able to mount the speakers to a concrete patio? The way the area lays out, 4 of the speakers and sub would be in landscaping, but 2 would need to be mounted onto my concrete patio somehow. Thx.

- Answer I would buy additional metal stake (kit come with 6). If you’ve already have existing concrete you would have to core drill the minimum diameter of the stake and and it will sit in place. You could add new concrete around the stake but if you do the core perfectly, no one should notice it was retro fit.

QuestionCould you tell me an outside projector that it can talk to , so sound can come via speakers if we a projector and screen outside

- Answer Any project with a line out and line into the amp will work. In terms of wireless and not hard lined… I don’t have an answer but it’ll that doesn’t mean there isn’t one.

Yes, the back of the Sonos amp has an Aux. input allowing you to hook up an additional source like a stereo receiver, cable box, etc. Keep in mind, the Sonos App includes many different streaming options. Your favorite radio stations may be available for you to stream using one of the many different streaming services without having to hook up an additional device. QuestionCan the sub be placed between the 2 and 3 speaker or does it have to be between 3 and 4. My layout works better if between 2 and 3.

QuestionCan i keep the amp in a non-conditioned pool house? It's covered and has wood walls but no insulation so would be exposed to high/low temps.

QuestionThe instructions show the satellite speakers in a straight line. If I put the speakers in a circle facing the area of use, would the performance be affected either positively or negatively? Is higher or lower placement better?

- Answer I don't believe you can bluetooth the sounds....I have mine hooked up with an hdmi cable and it sounds great!!

- Answer Very easy but watch YouTube videos on how to daisy chain speakers. Improper daisy chain adds additional fail points in your wiring, which allows increased chance for corrosion through your speaker wire.
