A:AnswerBetter to run the sub directly from the wall outlet, it has its own automatic shut down and power up so a few minutes after no input is detected it goes into standby mode.
A:AnswerI have 2 of these on my system for sub2 to supplement the bass coming from the 1000w on sub1, yes they will rattle the walls, windows and I have had some items come off of shelves and find the floor when I crank my tunes up. To adjust them where they don't do that would sacrifice the purpose of reproducing the frequencies they are designed for. I don't recommend them for systems that are confined to an apartment, trailer house or older wood homes with nearby neighbors.
