A:AnswerHi, and thank you very much for your question. If you're running 3 pairs of Sonos by Sonance speakers it does have to be all of the same model. This has to do with the detection circuit (which is one of the benefits of these specific speakers) and the way the amp delivers that to the speakers.
A:AnswerI got mine at my local store about 3 weeks ago. They are starting to tickle back to the stores. I would keep looking and watching my local best buy. Sonos web site is a long wait.
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for asking this question. We actually do still support the Play:1 and Sonos One as both are compatible with our S2 platform. Bridge is not necassary for our system. You can run all of your products off of your home's wifi. We do have the Sonos Boost which is designed to plug into your router and create a dedicated Sonos mesh network that all Sonos speakers receive and repeat to help with sub par wifi environments. Keep in mind that you can always reach out to us at sonos.com/support and contact us whichever way is best for you. We're happy to help get your system running smoothly!
Play:1/Sonos One are not weather resistant, so it's a good idea to purchase Amp, outdoor speakers, and wiring that you would need.

A:AnswerHi, and thank you for your question. You can tie Sonos products that don't have mics built in, with Alexa via the Alexa app, and use their voice products to control Sonos. You you could tell your dot "play x in the Living room" and your Amp that's named Living Room will start playing music. You should be able to switch HDMI with voice as well, but there can be other factors involved that may prohibit that feature.
A:AnswerThe answer is yes but assuming the following:
1. Your iPhone needs to be on same network as your router through WiFi. BTW you can connect the Amp via WiFi.
2. The WiFi coverage must extend outside where u want to control the amp through the app
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for your question. The Sonos Amp is designed to work with 2 conductor wire. You will not get the intended benefits with 4 conductor wire.
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for your question. Yes, you can use amp to power those speakers with the Sonos Amp! Our app walks you through the set up process, however Best Buy does offer professional installation. There are no videos online that we have endorsed as a company, but probably many helpful ones!
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for reaching out! There is technically no "Gen2" Amp. There's Connect:Amp with is the old model and this "Amp" is the newest model.
A:AnswerHi, we would not recommend hooking 6 speakers to one Amp. (The only speakers that are capable of doing this are our Sonos by Sonance outdoor speakers https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sonos-architectural-6-1-2-passive-2-way-outdoor-speakers-pair-white/6325623.p?skuId=6325623) For this set up we would recommend using x2 Sonos Amps, or buying an amplifier that would support it and plugging a Sonos Port into that.
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for your question! The Amp is designed to power existing speakers you already have. So your Denon speakers for example. It really depends on what set up you're looking to do with these speakers. If you're looking for surround sound. You could plug the Amp into your Tv using the ARC port and use x2 Ones as rears. Then use the other two ones in other rooms! If you're looking to use the them all in surround sound then, no. This article on our support site should help keeping in mind that Amp, Beam, or Arc can be used as front on our home theater systems.
