Music streaming via Sonos app should be fine, but Atmos from a TV needs that eArc
A:AnswerTechnically sound will be same if not mistaken you just won’t get the Dolby atmos enabled speakers soundbar comes with as optical cannot decode them.
A:AnswerYep! Fking send it man, that will sound great. That's what they're made for, and it will change the way the bar plays surround so it's true surround and not doubled.
A:AnswerSonos doesn't play nice with other brands. There's no realistic way to use Sony speakers with this bar. Unfortunately.
Same with a sub, have to get Sonos if you want a sub. One of the few downsides to these bars.
