- Answer No, it's an HDMI ARC connection. One HDMI cable. You need to make sure your TV has an ARC HDMI port.

- Answer You can connect Sonos brand in ceiling speakers to arc, but as of right now theres no support for atmos capability. You can use them as rears however. Im not sure of any other ceiling speakers that can be used with arc, so if you want ceiling atmos NOW you would have to get a new wired system. Albeit, they may add it (Sonos ceiling speaker atmos capability) in the future wjth updates, but nothing is confirmed atm.

- Answer I have had both and it is a huge upgrade. If you can swing the extra cash for a Sonos sub you will get enough base to anger your neighbors. I added two and it shakes my house.

QuestionIf the Samsung TV is connected via the ARC HDMI channel, will the Samsung remote be able to control the volume of the Sonos system or will I still have to use the Sonos app to control volume? This is my big Sonos complaint.

- Answer I do not believe you can. Sonos seems to be a “sonos only” type of company. Im not knocking them, but its obviously for money reasons. Besides, two Sonos Ones as rears will be years better than homepods.

QuestionI just bought a LG OLED CX 65" SMART TV. 1. HOW WELL DOES THE ROKUSTICK +, this sound bar & the new OLED TV communicate with each other? 2. Can I use the sound bar alone & put 2 SONOS wireless speakers on my patio for listening to music?

- Answer I have the same tv and use a 4k firestick with no problems. Recently I started using the apps (Netflix, Prime, Hulu) from the LG TV instead of the firestick most of the time, Sound is great either way. You can use the sound bar alone or with the other sonos speakers. The app allows you to seamlessly play any combination of the Arc and any other Sonos speakers. Takes a couple seconds to change. As long as the TV is off you can direct your music to the Arc with the app.

QuestionCan I connect two tvs to one arc and easily bounce between playing the sound on the one tv or the other, or even have sound from both tvs play at once in different volumes?

- Answer The sound bar only has one hdmi input, I’m not sure that adding a splitter would work but I doubt it will.

QuestionI have an older Panasonic TC-P46G10 Plasma 1080p HDTV. It has three standard HDMI connections. Will I still be able to connect the Arc Soundbar. (I am confused by all the eARC and ARC terminology). Thanks Colin

- Answer Before I invested in the Sonos Arc, I would upgrade my TV. You really need the HDMI ARC jack to utilize this great Sonos Arc soundbar.

QuestionOk, weird question, is it possible to use my Beam as a sort of rear surround sound speaker with the Arc?

- Answer The beam needs an hdmi arc or optical connection so you'd need a very long wire. I supposed with the right hardware it could be done you'd need to set the beam as a separate room/system and then play to both systems.

- Answer Hi, and thank you for your question. The Arc is not designed for outdoor use. If you're putting it in a covered patio or something like that, it should be fine. Just keep in mind it's not designed for harsh weather condition. Sound experience can very based on this environment.

- Answer Believe it, or not. It sounds good from 15 feet away. You can actually use tru-sound to have the sound better. (The only down side is that you must have an iPhone to use tru-sound. Hope this helps !
