• A:Answer You'd have to identify what Sonos product you are talking about. The sound bar does not have Bluetooth, for example, while the Move does. For me, Bluetooth pairing was a breeze. But if the unit has been paired previously (you have an open box or used item), you have to do a factory reset.

• A:Answer -Yes this will work with the subwoofer. -I don’t personally have experience with it but I believe the Chromecast can use CEC which the Beam 2 understands so it technically *should* work.

• A:Answer I use arc in a 22X18X20 (LXWXH) and the sound is very good. I do not have to turn up much either. This sound bar does a great job of not only projecting the sound, but focusing it for clarity.

• A:Answer It maybe could be if the CD player has an optical out. One could potential use the included optical to HDMI converter which is included in the box. Then go CD Player -> optical out -> Optical to HDMI converter -> HDMI cable -> Sonos Beam 2

Q: QuestionI watch mostly TV through a streaming service, along with a few movies from Netflix or bluray/dvd. My biggest problem with my current system is muddled dialog. With a $900 budget is Beam 2 with mini sub base, or the Arc with no base a better choice?

• A:Answer Hard one. I have the arc and the beam 2 with the big sub for the arc. The arc alone has great bass on its own. If your a person that enjoys dedication bass, the beam with sub mini will work fine for your budget. If you can get the arc and get the larger sub in the future that combination will make you smile everytime.

• A:Answer Technically yes but it’s no the preferred setup. I did this in a pinch when my old PLAY:BAR had issues. I connected the PLAY:5 to the TV using a 3.5mm cable and pair it to my SUB. I then grouped it with a pair of PLAY:1 in the rear. This will only play in stereo, not surround sound.
